When a current is applied through the positive and negative terminals, it creates an electrochemical reaction that releases energy. This stored energy can then power devices such as cars or boats!

When using a LiFePO4 battery (abbreviated to LFP), you need to use a charger built for LFP Batteries.

LiFePO4 batteries are made of lithium iron phosphate, a safer and more environmentally friendly material than lead. LiFePO4 batteries have a longer lifespan, hold their power for longer, and don’t release toxic fumes when damaged or improperly charged.

However, if you’re looking to get into LFP Batteries, it’s important to note that they are far more expensive than your average lead-acid battery. That’s because the manufacturing process requires specialized equipment and costs more money.

Charging the LFP with these types of chargers at these high voltages will damage the battery and destroy it.
